Trevor Rozier

Meet Trevor, Our Head Chef!

With more than 13 years of experience in professional kitchens, Trevor’s love of cooking started long before it became his career. Growing up, he spent time in the kitchen with both of his grandmothers, who taught him the foundations of cooking—from having the patience to develop deep flavors to the Southern influences that still inspire his food today. His love of cooking started so young that one of his favorite childhood toys was a bright pink and purple Easy-Bake Oven!

Trevor began pursuing cooking professionally in high school through the Culinary Arts program at Diamond Oaks Career Center. He graduated at the top of his culinary class with certifications from the American Culinary Federation and ServSafe Food Protection Management before continuing his education in Baking & Pastry Arts at Cincinnati State. It didn’t take long, though, for him to realize that the culinary kitchen was where he truly belonged.

Since then, Trevor has cooked and managed in kitchens of all shapes and sizes—from extremely high-volume operations to restaurants and smaller kitchens—building experience across a wide range of cuisines and techniques. Through it all, he has remained especially drawn to American Southern cooking and the slow-developed, layered flavors that first inspired him as a kid.

Today, Trevor brings that experience and creativity to his role as Head Chef at The Delish Dish. He loves the fast-paced, ever-changing world of catering, where no two days look quite the same. One day might be spent creating in the kitchen, another unloading a truck in the rain, and another plating a wedding dinner in a park as the sun sets. For Trevor, that variety—and the opportunity to create memorable food for our clients—is exactly what makes it so much fun.
